Transcript
- (Satsuki Hakruei is sweeping under the Shrine's archway.)
Sacchin: Man, this is hard work! - (Old Reimu flies over.)
Old Reimu: All of it is important, though.
Sacchin: Ah, don't worry, Grandmother, I understand all that. These chores just get a bit long toward the end sometimes. - (Reimu lands.)
Old Reimu: Hah, you're the exact opposite of me when *I* was your age.
Sacchin: (impishly) Is that good or bad? ... And for which one of us, for that matter? - (At the front of the Shrine, Carroll is leaning against the door.)
Carroll: I still can't believe you can just go ahead and get all kinds of work done and stuff, Sacchin!
Old Reimu: Hah. And *you*, Carroll, are the exact opposite of your "father" when *she* was given a task. - (Reimu and Sacchin approach the Shrine.)
Sacchin: Wasn't Shanghai going to come over too?
Carroll: Eh, she got caught up in working on some old spell my mom came up with years ago. - (Shanghai suddenly appears, appearing the size of Reimu and wearing a different blue dress, surprising everyone except Reimu.)
Shanghai: And what a spell it was!
Carroll: W-wha!?
Old Reimu: Oh, yes, the "Doll Enlargement Project." - (Shanghai remains hovering above the ground.)
Carroll: Aheh, I guess you really *are* my "big sister" now, huh?
Old Reimu: (aside, to Satsuki) I'll get the tea ready today.
Sacchin: (aside) Um, okay.
Shanghai: Yeah, it almost feels like we've lost the joke there, huh? - (Shanghai explodes.)
SFX: BOOMER - (Shanghai is now back to being doll-sized and winged and dressed like normal, with wisps of smoke coming from her.)
Carroll: Sh-shanghai!?
Shanghai: ... Aaaaaand the moral of the story is to put proper effort into spells like that.
1Especially since it seems unlikely that I'll end up having the energy to do more Create.swf Adventures starring the kids, I'm feeling a bit too drained by it lately. Speaking of which, it almost feels weird dealing with characters who have arms ...

Oh, great. Here comes the horde.
Wait, does that mean that fairy and her friends are still playing that blasted "Zombie Apocalypse" game after all these years?
The latest create.swf update has THE BEST FACES EVER!
But yeah. I decided the "future kids" ought to have some more actual characterization — y'know, things like their work ethic — without having someone else barging in and stealing the show.1 Of particular note are the traits these characters have ended up having which I hadn't actually planned on, such as the fact that Carroll ... tends to get overly-excitable when startled, even when it isn't from her sister exploding.
Not much else to say, other than that I updated the Original Characters page with Kon and Sacchin's current appearance and Shanghai's actual age (44, though she doesn't usually act it).
