OK, so ... you may have noticed that I haven't actually done anything with Everywhere Quest since I put it on hold over three months ago. I just really haven't been able to come up with the right way to continue it. I'll say it outright: this just wasn't working out for me towards the end.

So, instead, in lieu of going "waaaa it's too hard, I don't want to finish anything", I'm going to start over. Not like it's the first time I've done this. The new version won't be driven by user commands, it'll just be me writing the thing myself, like ordinary fanfiction. I'll also go out of my way to make it less "meme-based" than the original (B-Gator will probably go; most of the named NPCs Jenny has met in-person1 will probably remain unchanged, at least for the most part, because while some of them are at least partly derivative, I kind of feel like they're unique enough to stand on their own; I'm undecided on the Chaos Dunk plot and thus Jenny Nowhere herself, but I'll probably drop that).

I don't know if I'll keep the Everywhere RPG nonsense, or indeed if I'll even keep developing the RPG itself. For one thing, I later discovered Fate Core and decided that it is just vastly superior in every way; Everywhere RPG has always been in this weird limbo somewhere between that level of complexity and something like Risus, and I've never had any evidence that anyone was actually interested (which is always kind of a killing blow against my enthusiasm for creating something).

So yeah. Gonna start making stuff again.

1For the record: Prayer's Mania, the Baron and Baroness Furymurder, Marx Man, and the Mercenary Consortium (Slinus Segall/Dragging Dirk, Richard Devilish Jr./Crazy Demolitions, Halianna Bernstein/Silent Singer, and Cheryl Duchovny/Heavy Breakdown).
