I had a job interview this past Wednesday. It's a data entry job at a local travel agency; it'll be full time, and it's a temp job for 3-4 months. I haven't gotten any word as to whether I've gotten the job, and I was informed that no decisions would be made until Wednesday, but the interview went rather well.
What this means for people viewing my site: I will probably have a lot less time/energy/bwegh to work on Create.swf Adventures throughout the week. Not sure what the schedule will be, exactly, but it will definitely be reduced. Also "fun": changing my sleep schedule from 2nd shift to 1st shift.
(As a side note, I'm not going to work on Touhou Nekokayou tonight, because I feel way crappy. But here's a little Photoshop thing I did. (Well ... the body's photoshopped. The rest of it is just using existing items, and the hair colored #CC0000 instead of the default.)

Masha is probably the cutest character on this site. I don't know what you did, but you seem to have created a character who could probably hold her own against any canon character in a "Touhou-ness" contests. And this image looks like something she'd wear on a beautiful, perfect day, when she actually gets to choose what she wears (including the braid) (as opposed to being born clothed).

I keep reading this as a subtle joke with a double-meaning about the status of dizzy.pestermom and about watching for planes being run into buildings. Am I a terrible person?

Well hopefully you'll be able to get the job soon. also, there's nothing wrong with taking a break from things to actually recover from your current work/job hunting.
As for that Masha pic, she might actually be Lady Yuyuko's rival in the moe department as of now.

I don't know what possessed me to do this, but here's grown-up Masha in a few different outfits. And I think saving it as a .jpg messed with the colors a bit.
No Photoshop was involved. I don't even have it.

@Player Three: That right there means once Masha get's past her current mess we need her to face off against Lady Yuyuko in a moe moe face-off now. Also, I have to lol at how Sakuya is just there for no apparent reason as well.

As a matter of fact, while I was designing Big-Masha, that china-outift was going to be one of the possibilities.
(For the record, the original was Gengetsu's outfit + "plain red.")

Yup. JPGs are lossy (i.e. you can't reconstruct the original from the copy) and don't do solid color fields or clean lines well - winds up looking like it was overlaid with static or something. And create.swf art is ALL solid colors and clean lines. A better option is something lossless like PNG or even GIF.

A job interview? Well, I don't know whether or not to say Good Luck, because I enjoy the create.swf adventures, and no Muffin means no Nekokayou or Adventures.
Also, seeing G.U. Masha makes me wanna do something now.
