- (Alice and Marisa at Alice's house. Marisa is rubbing her mini-hakkero against Alice while Shanghai hovers nearby.)
Marisa: Whee!
Alice: Haha ... M-Marisa, that ... th-that tickles! Hey!
SFX: graze graze - (Aya flies by over the trees, when suddenly a "!" appears above her head.)
Alice: (off-panel) Mmm ... ooooh!
Marisa: (off-panel) Heh, betcha ya didn't know I could do *that* with my mini-hakkero, eh? - (Closeup of Aya against a sketchy pink background, with yen-symbols for eyes.)
Aya: Scoop get!
Text: Scandal!
Text: Witch and dollmaker caught in the act!
Text: Perversion!
Text: Lesbians! - (Aya leaps into the panel and takes a picture, causing Marisa to set off the mini-hakkero, causing Alice to stumble and spew point-items. Causing Shanghai to drift back a bit.)
Aya: Photowned!
Camera SFX: snap
Marisa: Whaa!
SFX: startled into accidental discharge
Alice: Augh!
SFX: SPOOOOOOOON! - (Marisa catches Alice in her arms.)
Aya: Oh ... uh ...
Marisa: Alice! Are you okay!?
Alice: Ow ... uh ... I think so ... - (Marisa helps Alice stand up.)
Aya: Er ...
SFX: backing away
Marisa: Damn, good thing you had, like, six 1-ups, and I had my Mini-Hakkero set to really low ...
Alice: Yeah, I'm fine ... didn't even hit my hitbox head on ... - (Marisa and Alice face Aya with killer-faces.)
Aya: (panicked backing away) Ah, hey, guys! Um ... how's the ... um ... the ... - (Overview of the forest, with a red-orange beam blasting out of the trees.)
Aya: (off-panel) WAAAAUGH!
Spell Card: Rainbow Love 「Malice Cannon」 - (Aya is sticking out of the tree in Yukari's yard.)
Aya: ... and then I landed here.
Yukari: Ah, I see. Hmmhmmhmmm ...
Aya: So, um ... could you please help me get down from here?

Byt everyone is gay in Gensokyo (non-canon), right? So, how lesbians can shock in this perverted country?

No, everyone's bi. Mokou's the only actual lesbian. I figured that a society in which homophobia didn't exist, and indeed was viewed with perplexity when observed in outsiders, would be really illusory, and thus would be what life in Gensokyo was like. Especially with an overwhelming number of cute girls.
Anyway, Aya's referring more to the act than the quality of being lesbian. Plus, I hadn't solidified that idea in my head when I made this comic.

Malice Cannon is the fan-monicker for a maneuver in Imperishable Night when you play as the Magic Team (Alice and Marisa — you're Alice when "focused", Marisa when not, and they have separate attacks). If you rapidly tap shift (the key you use to focus), Alice and Marisa will use their attacks more or less simultaneously, thus resulting in Massive Damage. I decided I'd make it into a spell-card. Coming up with the "sign" (Love Sign, Dream Sign, Scarlet Sign, etc.) proved difficult, until, in a flash of inspiration, I came up with what I have now.
I actually came up with the idea for the basic outline of this comic ages before I actually knew I was going to make Scarlet Weather Archive. Same with borrowing the joke from Dichromatic Butterfly. I had an idea of trying to make my own flash-stories, like KirbyM's. I think, given how long it's taken me to even try to pick up Flash, that this is working out rather better.
I probably won't go back through every comic with Marisa and add her mini-hakkero to it (I originally made my own, but on 8 November 2008, KirbyM added an official one).
