Oh ... I forgot to say this on Friday, but:
I am now officially without a car (previously I had merely been unofficially without it). I was pretty much resigned to it, really. Now I'm just waiting on checks from both the insurance company ($40-ish) and the scrap company the auto body shop sent it to (no idea whether it'll be more or less).
and now that I've done that stupid "sequel" joke I never have to do it again.
