Reading -that- took a while since I had to reload every page a few times.
I'm confused, but that was probably what you were going for.

I imagine you're thinking of the somewhat vague "Vampire Incident" referenced in PMiSS for the Dracula thing? I was gonna suggest "He came to Gensoukyou after he was permenantly defeated by Julius Belmont in 1999", but then read Part 4 and realized that you have the Vampire Incident set in 1995, so that wouldn't work. My follow up suggestion would be a mutter about "Well, between resurrections, Dracula isn't really ANYWHERE, so maybe he ended up in Gensoukyou, tried to take it over got beaten by Reimu and company, and got forced back into the real world in time to be resurrected in 1999".
Of course, that means you'd be crashing Castlevania's timeline into Touhou's, making things even MORE convoluted.

There were a few good things that came from this. They are small.
I think its about here where I just go 'What was the point of this'. You jumped straight off hisoutenkou into 'Muffin restates an event for the third time now, and introduces two rather unnecessary characters'. And it sounds like a third may be on it's way.
Overall, I can't help but see this plotline unimportant. (Though this may coming from slightly poor characterization for the new characters).

I'm CERTAIN this comic was completely different when I loaded it this morning. Also bigger. DAMMIT YUKARI!
Hunter 1
Eh, if I was Yukari, I would have let her keep the hairstyle...
Also, Kimiko, do you work for Bungie?
ZeroInsanity
Well, now I actually understand all of this.
Stone goes BAM, division by zero, then all of the sudden: TIME'S ALL BROKEN. Ohshi-
I like that aspect.
As for the rest of the stuff: Couldn't predict any of it until I read it. Hawt dayumn.
So, the only other thing I have a question on is this:
How does Yukari have a Daughter?
Manipulation Of The Border Of Life?
Or is there a DAD?
loldunno it's probably gonna get answered somehow
CapedLuigisYoshi
Now to make a proper comment...
was reimu, utsuho, and sakuya's beating up of meimu morally justified
was meimu's plot morally justified
was yukari's fake anger at meimu morally justified
-mercilessly merciless'd into oblivion and back- Okay, I swear that's the last time I'll do that.
Anyways, this comic is definitely the largest I've ever seen. And for all its length, there are still things I don't get. What are Meimu's motivations? What are Rin's motivations? Why did Meimu go back in time anyways? What the heck happened here?
I assume Mugetsu and Gengetsu will get follow-up later.
My money's on the "shadow-youkai" being Sasha. Now that I have said it, it must not be canon!
Congratulations! KimikoMuffin's Fancomic Artist 「35-Koma of Legend〠has been upgraded to Fancomic Artist 「60-Koma of Legendã€!
Great job, and hopefully more to come. :)

So Where are ran and chen in 39 years hence?
What poor creature had sex with yukari?
These to me are clearly the most pressing concerns.

Dude... what happened?
Seriously, it started out excellent (and, as per usual, funny as all hell), with some huge strokes of genius such as Mugetu and Gengetu being the culprits behind Meiling's catfish problem, or the hilarious Cirno/Okuu dynamic.
But then, at some point, it got out of hand. It might've been when Sakuya faced the two sisters - that was when I felt this was getting a bit rushed. But the point is that, at some point halfway through the story, things started going down the failtrain. Bad. When you introduced Meimu, I groaned but held hope it might turn out good. When you began the whole timetravel thing, I started getting some serious wtf vibes. By the time you gave Rin boundary manipulation powers, my suspension of disbelief was shattered and I believe that, barring some insane amounts of alcohol,it will never be quite the same.
So yeah. Love the comic, been following it for ages. But this arc? This arc makes me want to shoot puppies in the face.
Duran
I think this is why you don't do a big arc near major milestones, otherwise, things will get rushed to meet that milestone.
But I had a hard time making sense of things near the end. You don't really bring back someone like Rin with broken powers.
Hunter 1
Duran: Boundary manulipation itself is a broken power, no matter who wields it, human or youkai. So many things can be defined as having a boundary, it's not even funny.
PMiller1 (This Link have a Give for You)
Did you really have to hide it?
But hey glad to see the Transcript is Fix. :D

I do not know why, but the part of the comic that made me laugh the hardest was Sakuya's Fatal Error joke, complete with the "Psychotic Killer" face.
東方再想天則 〜 Rethinking the Natural Law (Touhou 12.3i) begins here, and ends HERE! Longest comic yet at 60 panels. As I've said before, when I break records, I smithereen 'em!
Oh, right, Meimu's weather. Um, it is called Time Storm, and works a lot like Snow (getting hit or blocking drains card-energy), except that instead of losing a card, you regain a card that was previously-used (multiple cards, if a Spell Card was used) in reverse-order of when you used them, as well as undoing damage done to the enemy or abilities changed/upgrated where applicable. New music: "Broken History ~ Time Paradox." If you lose against Meimu in any context, or against Yukari, Meimu, or Rin as either of the other two, or against yourself in Arcade/Versus: instead of the regular continue-screen, you get a Metal Gear Solid 3-type "TIME PARADOX" screen.
No, you didn't miss anything. I haven't detailed Reimu, Marisa, and Rin's battle with Dracula, nor what the kerfluff he was doing in Gensokyo. But I guess getting hit by a sphere of annihilation is a good enough reason not to debut in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, huh?
I wasn't sure exactly how powerful Rin should be, but I was inspired to specifying her as resolutely below Yukari both before and after their as-yet-unrevealed history happened by CopyCatZero. He knows why and how. ;P
The award for "most memory-intensive panel in create.swf" goes to panel #24, and "most complicated effects rendered entirely in create.swf with no photoshopping." It's probably ... Ah, nope, it is not the biggest filesize for an individual panel, that goes to panel 4 of #20, since that was sorta based on a Jpeg (I think), but it's still ousted the previous second place.
This is probably the first time I've depicted the Outside World in this comic. Apart from Huntress, of course. I'm rather pleased with the "civilian attire" I gave Meimu and Rin (which are respectively recolors of "Red Dress" and Kogasa's outfit).
I was originally going to put Sakuya's "fatal exception error" joke in the confrontation with the Getsu sisters, but I ended up not having a place for it. Feel free to use the mondo slasher smile (put it at the same scale as your characters), and give credit, at least until KirbyM puts it into create.swf (though I notice that kind of thing hasn't been done lately without specific requests) ...
Um, we seem to have wandered off from Hisou Tensoku a lot ... I may have to do something about this! (Warning, link leads to TVTropes. Muffin will not be held responsible for hours of time lost as a result of following it.But see also this disclaimer)
And if you're wondering why Old Reimu didn't mention Kon Yakumo in #48? Look again!
