Between this and the last Aya & Chen suggestion, we seem to be leading our poor journalist on a wild goose chase.

I can't help but imagine the note saying "We're sorry Aya, but your shrine maiden is in another castle."

Thanks. It's a simple trick: I just snapshot her at her end point, then snapshot her one pixel to the left, then two pixels to the left of that, then four pixels further, and so on doubling each time. And then play these frames in reverse-order.

Ah, clever! I'd have done it the other way around and risked getting the math wrong and had her end up in the wrong part of the screen.

This doesn't make it a wild goose chase - it's just a slight delay in finding the person in question. It takes guts, wits, and perseverance to get to the bottom of a scoop! Alternatively, a willingness to make shit up, but Aya would never do something so shameless as that. Journalistic integrity is the epoxy that keeps the wheels of this nation we call Gensokyo flying!

Gensokyo isn't a nation, it's barely bronze age socially.
Don't worry, Masha will solve this problem.

Very good. I still haven't finished counting the things deliberately wrong with those sentences.

At least Aya is now somewhat up to speed with the plot it would seem.
