I'm like ninety percent certain Reimu is talking about, you know, us. Or, at least, the Spirits giving commands.
The second we tried giving her commands, she used a barrier to make herself uncommandable.
The last time she said "hold still", Cirno became uncommandable.
My guess: she's about to put a similar barrier on Nitori, and we're about to lose her as a playable character.

I'm no longer thinking we're the incident. On the contrary, we might be the only ones who can save the day. Fact is that we should have been more suspicious of Reimu's costume change.

I know that. I said as much earlier in this shingding. My puzzlement is that Nitori claims she knows what's going on, and Reimu knows she knows that Nitori knows what's going on. That means Nitori knows about us, too!

That's not something you say/think to yourself unless you know someone was listening in. Also, kappa don't cause incidents unless by doing so they bring technology to Gensokyo... of which bringing full internet access definitely qualifies!

@Wyrm: The real goal is to figure out which of the Fourth Wall Shenanigans are "shenanigans" and which of them are "fourth wall" and still know what you're talking about. :trollface:

I don't think running is an option. She needs to hold out long enough to get a critical message off to Alice and Marisa.

Now, to try something drastic

Nitori: Enter Spell Card Duel in order to buy time.
It might not buy you /much/ time, but it might be enough for you to fire off some warning danmaku, or some sort of clue that Marisa could see. Reimu has to follow the spell card rules, too, and getting insta-KO'd by that barrier is an incredibly bad idea.
