timelines are fun things.

So if my assumption on the spell is correct and they are making shanghai then...shanghai is 44 in fate of 60 years so this takes place 16 years in the future. That is if all CSA, :3 and fanfics are linked together in canon. if not this all fails.

So 16 years in the future Shanghai is made/ this comic series happens, yet your Mystic Square fanfic happens only 10 years in the future and Shanghai/Carol are not mnetioned either when alice gets nabbed.

That means Marisa should be a Youkai... seening as you never said Marisa was a human at any point during this adventure. but only if the events in the fanfic would have ended with her turning into one.

of course this only works if all touhou related things on this site are linked together in a big ball of Muffin canon.
