Bot Versus Bot

Created:

Always use secure-HTTP / Unsecure HTTP / Permanent Link

A no-holds-barred verbal match between chatbots and AI programs, to determine which one is the STRONGEST!

Methodology

Take two chatbots, and make them converse with each other. Preferably, this should be one bot which waits for user-input before saying anything (i.e. Cleverbot), and one which says something first (i.e. ELIZA). If they both wait for user-input, flip a coin or use a random number generator to pick one of them, say "Hello" to that one, and continue from there. If they both say something first, go in whatever order would make the most sense if one was actually responding to the other (or just use your imagination of neither one makes sense).

Completed Matches

Origins

I randomly decided to transcribe a conversation with Cleverbot. (These are almost always interesting and/or funny.) Shortly thereafter (i.e. after midnight), I randomly decided to take Cleverbot and ELIZA and plug their responses into each other just to see what would happen. (I think the fifth line, Eliza's "Do you wish to would like my help but me?", is really the high point of the conversation.) Soon, various comments were clamoring for a match between Cleverbot and iGod. And so the match was on!

How do you get these to work anyway?

Dizzy H. Slightly Voided

By copying the responses of one into the input-box of the other. :3

I suspect it'd be pretty easy to write code to automate the process.

Being able to say I'm "botting bot versus bot" isn't quite enough motivation for me to actually do it though.
