Always use secure-HTTP / Unsecure HTTP / Permanent Link
(Which is to say: "regarding life, the universe, and everything.")
First of all, you may have noticed that I have changed over the CAPTCHA system to use reCAPTCHA instead of the previous addition-system, which was basically a poster-child for security through obscurity and locked out people with dyscalcula. Under the hood, I've set it up so that you can basically use whatever CAPTCHA system you want ... y'know, if I ever release this damn CMS.1
In other news: I am entering the Homestuck music contest. It is about the GCat, and it is titled "Radiocative";[sic] I have uploaded WIP versions here, here, and here. More info on the music page. The final version is going to be ... a bit different, I think.
Here's the thing, though: winning tracks are going to be part of an album which is going to be for sale on their music website. If Radiocative makes it into this album, I'm going to get a cut of the sales, and therefore, I'm not going to put it on my site for free, and I might even take down the WIP versions. (If I don't win, though, I will put it up here.) So, just a heads-up on that.
EDIT Oh, yeah, forgot to mention, the TVTropes article has moved to the "Webcomic" namespace, so now it's here (Warning, link leads to TVTropes. Muffin will not be held responsible for hours of time lost as a result of following it.But see also this disclaimer).
1As an aside, I also discovered a bug in the contact form which basically negated all the error messages before a certain point, because the "check if the body is empty" bit created a new array-of-error-messages instead of adding to it! So I just moved that to the top of the error-checking section, where I guess it was originally.

Aaaaaargh.... New Captcha is murder for my crappy eyes. T^T
Anywho, good luck with that there contest, Muffin~

On the upside, muffin won't have to worry about people mentioning what captcha they got, because it's unreadable.
Tohohohoho, five stars.

The song's interesting; it's NOT your normal style, which is probably a good thing. That said, the tone feels a little indecisive early on, if you understand what I'm saying. The guitar is intense enough to be "boss music" but the twangy electronic thing (the one that makes three ascending notes most of the time) feels too upbeat for that. The part starting at 1:38 is pretty good though, and quite Homestuck-y; I find myself automatically trying to draw up mental images of what a flash would be doing with that lull.

Just to clarify I meant it's good that you can branch out and do variety. Not that there's something wrong with your normal style! I love it and most of your songs have permanent homes on my hard drive. But not this one... yet.

Well, I've sent the latest version (which is ... a bit changed from WIP #3) along.
I kind of ran out of ways to improve it, really.
Dizzy H. Slightly Voided
Not really, it's still gonna be another whole 9 days or so. You could barely say that the moment of truth is spinning-wheels.
Formica Archonis
Oops. Oh well, if you sent it off your part has still ended. Nothing to do but wait it out.

It's not like it had gone completely unnoticed.
Also name of site != name of comic. :P (Speaking of which, I should probably take down that link to the site which urges people to do something before January 24th.)

Good luck in the music contest
